I'm a senior full-stack engineer with a focus on the frontend: architecture, design systems, and accessible UI. I partner closely with design to build intuitive, thoughtful products with empathy-driven engineering, close attention to detail, and a high bar for quality.

  1. Senior Software Engineer

    Sep 2026 - Present

    • Leading five engineers on the frontend rebuild of Tilt’s central leave management hub. Every leave specialist works in it, and it’s now expanding to HR admins as a new product tier. I scoped the rebuild into 9 parallel workstreams to minimize dependencies and keep the team unblocked. The UI is state-heavy: benefit coverage timelines, pay calculation panels, and schedule calendars.
  2. Software Engineer II

    Sep 2023 - Sep 2026

    • Laid the foundation of Tilt’s design system: a greenfield MUI component library built to support a company-wide rebrand and white-labeling initiative. Working closely with design on a smooth design-to-production workflow, I built its design tokens, theming, and 14+ core components, then drove adoption with contributor docs and an org-wide knowledge share that helped engineers across teams onboard quickly. It’s now the standard for frontend work at Tilt.
    • Owned an in-app DocuSeal e-signature integration end to end, replacing a manual download-sign-upload workflow used by 1,000+ companies and cutting signing time by 85%. I built a field mapping layer that prefills 90+ document types from existing data, which meant solving some non-trivial format transformations, and webhook-based status syncing that triggers automated actions when a document is completed.
    • Spotted that admins were creating FMLA notices by editing a Google Doc, downloading it, and re-uploading it. I wrote a technical design proposing an in-platform generator and led the build: a side-by-side form that prefills 20+ editable fields next to a live PDF preview, so admins see the finished notice before it’s generated and attached to the leave. Creating a notice went from ~15 minutes to ~3.
    • Built automated status tracking for employee leave benefits, giving real-time visibility into approval progress across multiple benefits per leave. Benefits questions had made up ~35% of leave specialist communications, and the tracking reduced that volume. I owned the denied status as a standalone piece, designing it to feel consistent with the other statuses despite constraints from earlier architectural decisions.
    • Mentored 2 incoming engineers from onboarding to independently shipping features, each within 2 weeks of starting, through pairing, code review, and approach calls. My manager recognized the impact on the team’s ramp-up.
    • Introduced automation to leave specialist communication flows, contributing to a “no-touch” leave process goal.
    • Implemented a live activity feed covering 8 different types of tracked actions.
  3. Software Engineer I

    Jul 2022 - Sep 2023

    • Shipped core pay calculation, edit safeguard, and permission features for a two-way Rippling payroll integration. The partnership drove $1M+ in pipeline revenue and doubled Tilt’s customer base.
    • Built core components of the login redesign, including two-factor authentication (authenticator app and SMS), secure password recovery, and subdomain identification. The 2FA work was part of reaching SOC 2 compliance and unblocked companies that require 2FA.
    • Contributed to site-wide accessibility work that brought the platform to WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, refactoring shared frontend components and interaction patterns so the experience was more inclusive and consistent.
